What a delight. So much to see, even for non-arty types like us! Very enjoyable.
Wonderful place to visit. View from Balcony is breathtaking. Panorama window in seating area, makes the view look like a beautiful artwork. Back again. Just as wonderful. The Cafe has great Staff and delicious food. Coffee well made.
On a break from Brisbane and visiting Murwillumbah and especially Margaret olley gallery at Tweed heads regional gallery. What a treat! Easy to find and a well set out plan of interesting works. Margaret would be proud how her works and snippets of her life has been displayed. Nice little cafe for a break
Not really an art gallery person, but had an informative and enjoyable day visiting the gallery. Good architecture and gallery spaces, with the Margaret Olley displays being world class. Topping off a great experience, the restaurant serves a varied menu of locally sourced produce, and is licensed and reasonably priced. Entry to the gallery is also reasonably priced, it's FREE.
An excellent place to stop on a drive South from Brisbane. The Margaret Olley exhibition is well presented and you could immerse yourself in it for an hour or more. But other works on display are also excellent. In addition to which the restaurant in the gallery is well worth a visit - the food is delicious and well presented and the staff very helpful.
